Photographs documenting Rollo H. Beck's field work show bird studies and collecting by Beck, mostly of sea gulls and several varieties of penguins, and their nesting sites. Also, local inhabitants, village markets and city streets, contrasting urban and rural lifestyles. Photographs taken by Beck. Collection also contains photographs Beck took in the United States. Most photographs are identified.
